"Beautiful location with so much history. Very much enjoyed sitting by the fire place on a chilly evening, playing board games as a family. Nice to have live music also. Staff was friendly and helpful."

"Excellent location, and good sized rooms/cottages. All functional and clean. The furniture and kitchen and bathroom furnishings on the old side, but functional. The bed was creaky, but the mattress and pillow were ok. The whole setup had this air of past greatness, and could use a bit of TLC. Would recommend, especially for location."

"The cabin was in need of a lot of TLC and having spoken to another couple who had been here 20 years ago the felt the same. We would not return to this property even though the location was good for what we had planned. The owner seems to have done some upgrades ie 2 of the windows had been replaced recently but in my opinion the property is past its prime by a long shot.
