Stay was ok

We were transfered to their sister hostel on arrival, it was quite disorganised. Room was ok, Im fine with stripping the beds in hostels, but was surprised to see we even had to take the bin out! Breakfast was ok, as basic as can be.

Umm Not what I expected

This was an interesting stay. It is in a house in a neighborhood that they have converted into 4 separate private rooms and a central kitchen for share. 1 bathroom and 1 shower also to share. This would be expeccted for a hostel. we had to go through a room that was cluttered with cleaning supplys and equipment to go outside to get to our room or to go to the main part of the house or bathroom. For the price, this place really fell short of our expectations.

Absolute Katastrophe

Als Teil unseres Great Ocean Road-Trips haben wir (zum Glück nur eine Nacht) in diesem "Hostel" verbracht. Mit über $40 AUD pro Person pro Nacht, war es ein relativ teures Backpacker-Hostel. Leider war es nicht annähernd, was man von einem richtigen Hostel erwartet. Die Zimmer sind scheinbar alle in einzelnen Häusern. Wir waren in einem Haus mit zwei Zimmern, wovon man unser eigenes schonmal nicht abschließen konnte. Das Bad: dreckige Toilette, zugenagelte Badewanne, dreckiges Waschbecken und tropfende Dusche. Küche und Wohnzimmer spärlich und nicht sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Das "Frühstück inklusive" bestand aus ein paar offenen, fast leeren Marmeladengläsern, angebrochener Milch und Cornflakes-Packung. Die Nacht insgesamt war ziemlich ungemütlich, mit kaputter Heizung haben wir die Nacht durch gefroren und haben uns mit vielen eigenen Decken zugedeckt. Diese Unterkunft kann ich wirklich niemanden empfehlen, viel zu teuer für so ein Hostel, wir haben eine Beschwerde hinterlassen, worauf aber nie eine Reaktion kam- kein Wunder dass man kein persönliches Check Out hatte sondern den Schlüssel bloß im Zimmer liegen lassen sollte.

Never been to a backpackers before. But it was ok!

So i wouldnt take the family... but for a cheap stay over just somewhere to sleep it did the job and more! The bloke who checked my in was friendly and accomodating. He let me check in 3 hours after check in closure. They has tea. Coffee. Breakfast cerial. And a tv to watch the footy. She was rough around the edges but overall for wat i needed and for the $$$ worth it!
