There was no hot water in the room, only lukewarm. Soap in the dispenser was incredibly watered down and shampoo was empty. Tea kettle was dirty. "There’s no question the views from the hotel are incredible with access to a pebbly shoreline. These were memorable and breathtaking. Watch out for the jellyfish though! However whilst friendly and helpful finding staff at times can be challenging. At one point I wanted a coffee to relax in the bar and read but was told sorry nobody here until 3pm almost an hour later. It was however very nice when I did get it. "the restaurant was lovely and they were able to get us a last minute reservation upon our later arrival. staff were lovely the property was lovely and the location is gorgeous!"

"The property was very clean but very warm! Aircon would be beneficial especially with not being able to open doors/windows without risking midges joining you for the night!! Bed was very soft and bed sofa not overly comfortable but ideal place to stay for a few nights. Great being so dog friendly,having the restaurant on site (though quite pricey!) and the station being so close giving access to Oban and Stirling. Fabulous views over the loch too!"

"This was a solid hotel on our way to Isle of Skye. The construction outside wasn't known until after the booking. And while not horrible, they started moving equipment about 45 min before 8am when the work was to start. We knew it would be rustic and it was. No frills but solid hotel. Beds were very hard though."
