"For a weekend getaway, it was a good experience overall. A couple of things to keep in mind though—getting to the island involves about a two-hour ride on an open boat. If the water is rough, it might not be the most enjoyable, and if the weather turns while you’re on the island, it’s unclear how flexible or reliable transportation back would be. The beach service is fairly limited, so if you’re expecting a more polished, resort-style experience, it may fall short of that atmosphere. That said, the setting is quiet and low-key, with good cellular and internet service, which is a nice plus. The accommodations are hut-style—simple, but very comfortable and peaceful. Overall, it has a lot of potential. With some improvements in service, it could be a really great spot."

"Room was ok, I was not able to use the TV, there is no fridge, no hair dryer and no safe. Place looks new but still need some improvements."

"Camino Palmero is a great place to stay in Coveñas. The staff is so professional and helpful, they helped me celebrate my birthday and made our stay very pleasant despite the inconveniences due to bad weather. The location is perfect if you want be on the beach. Our room was clean, spacious. The food at the restaurant was very good. We recommend Camino Palmero without hesitation and hope to be back soon."
