"The hotel itself is very nice, our rooms were comfortable (although the bathroom light was not working in one of them and they could not get it fixed until the next day) and at an excellent location on the waterfront. But service at the Grand Bistro was very poor at times and the quality of the food leaves quite a bit to be desired. I would certainly not describe it as Haut Cuisine. We had reserved a table at the terrance for the evening of our arrival, but it had been given away even though we arrived early. The food was OK, but our mains arrived all at different times. The next morning it took 1:15-1:30 for our breakfast orders to arrive. Our omelettes were overcooked and dry and my son had to wait 1:30 for scrambled eggs. This is really not befitting the five star entourage of the hotel. Service at the newly opened Sky Bar the next evening was a lot better. Staff attitudes ranged widely from quite helpful to downright indifferent."
