Excellent hotel fantastic service

We booked our holiday as a special treat for our tenth anniversary and had never travelled to Costa Rica before, so we were not sure what to expect or the standard of the hotel as it was rated a mere two and a half stars on Expedia. We thought that we would take a chance and book 5 nights at Casa Chameleon Las Catalinas as the description and images looked amazing, however we left on our travels expecting it not to live up to expectations as per many hotels that we have booked and stayed at, you...

Generally great experience, the food was good, especially the outside lobster and shrimp skewers in the main, we actually preferred the main restaurant to the specialised restaurants. Great sandy beach, free use of kayak and stand up paddle board, snorkeling equipment if you ask we only realised the last couple of days. Lots of good stuff. Our kids were a bit cheeky and asked for extra Oreos from run service which they were given. The toilet didn't work but we were changed to a room where it...

The food wasn't great but other than that we had a great stay.

Great stay in a nice and quiet hotel.

A beautiful stay in Guayacan. Staff very helpful. Grace was our favourite, she spent time teaching our children Spanish and made us feel very welcome every time. We had an issue with the water but this wouldn't put us off staying here again. A unique experience that we really loved. Food was delicious, go half board if you can. The rooms need an extra air con unit on the bunkbeds side, but if you have the unit on all day and shut the curtains it's fine. Don't be put off by the drive up to the...

Excellent welcome by front desk staff. Great room, clean, good facilities and very comfortable bed. Great pool, and poolside service very attentive. Free shuttle service to airport and the best driver, extremely informative and helpful.

Absolutely beautiful place, lovely welcome by staff who could not have done more to make us feel at home. The grounds are well kept and the pool areas are stunning. Our room (Nesto suite) was large and comfortable. Would definitely return!

Kelly and all the staff were fantastic and there's a lovely cat 🐈 Mee Mee

Great staff and service - location was ideal right on the beach. We had a small issue which was settled very quickly . Would recommend this to anyone!

The view matches the name of the hotel. Beat ifully maintained by Sandra and Florian. Access to the small parking area is up a steep hill. There is a bit more parking on the road. Great breakfast, we preferred the 'Organic'choice - recommended. Small pool perfect for morning swims. We stayed for three nights, exploring the area by car, and had our lunches and dinners en route. This strategy worked well for us as we were not interested in any nightlife.

We had a 9 night stay at Conchal Hotel 01/11-10/11/2017 and it couldn’t have been better. The hotel is located close to at least 5 fantastic restaurants and the hotel restaurant Papaya is also delicious. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful from helping us book taxis to arranging tours and airport transfers and even suggesting drinks we should try. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and very clean. Brasilito is not what I would call “touristy” which for us was ideal, the people in...

Our stay at Nekajui, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, was truly exceptional. The resort is spectacular, with breathtaking views, beautifully designed facilities and an incredible sense of privacy and tranquillity. The facilities are outstanding. The **gym is amazing**, while the **spa and hydrotherapy pools are truly sensational** — perfect for relaxing and recharging. What really sets Nekajui apart, however, is its people. The staff were passionate, professional, warm and exceptionally courteous....
