"Breakfast amazing . Bedroom under a massive vent that kept us awake all night . Maintenance came up , checked couldn’t see what it was , started back up in middle of night "

"Lovely staff, nicely renovated room in iconic building, great Penhaligons amenities in the room. We were disappointed howerever with the quality of the breakfast: the cured meats were of poor quality, same as the cheese. We stayed on the 1st floor on a Saturday night, and we could hear music from the restaurant below until 11pm, if not midnight. Lastly, th bar at the area is always busy (no spaces reserved for guests) and we couldn't get a table to have some light lunch after checking out."

"Very clean room, very pleasant staff, typical bar selection (not very interesting), shops were nearby. Restaurant was Thai which is ok if you like Thai food. A good ' English restaurant opposite the hotel. Breakfast was good. Management bent over backwards to change our room due to a ' intermittent tapping noise' on the ceiling."

"Music blasting out from early hours of the day from the gym make it hard to sleep in the mornings including and a lady doing a spin class screaming into a mic "

"Spa is lovely. Staff and hotel is really nice. Rooms at the back are backed onto a noisy bar so try to avoid them if you can "
