"During departure, I had booked a shuttle to the airport as per the hotel policies. I checked into the front desk 5 mins before departure, and was hanging outside the reception. About 3 mins after departure time, as did not see any one approach me, I asked the front desk person, and she said that since I was not waiting at the desk, the shuttle left!! Very disappointing attitude. I thereafter booked an Uber and left."

We used the Resteraunt and clearly stated my wife had a severe allergy to onions. She ordered a hamburger that came with onions. They said they would cook another. It did not come with onions but she took 2 bites and started to get sick. She went to the room and threw up. She felt better. Service was way slow and not attentive at all. Overall...

"Such a strange place. It is trying so hard to be amazing but falls short in many ways. A few examples: The staff enter the rooms almost every time you exit them. Even if just for a quick breakfast. This ruins any feeling of privacy. The place is located very close to the end of the runway at Johannesburg airport. This means that there is so much noice from planes landing and taking off! Within the walls it is like an oasis, but the surroundings are industrial and ugly. "

"The on-duty caretaker at the guest house during my stay, Mr. Bheki, was very friendly and was always willing to help out with information that will enhance my comfort and safety during my stay. "I booked this place for my mom and her friend who were visiting friends and didnt want to drive home in the dark. Upon arrival, they were checked in and the male reception staff watched 2 elderly woman struggle to carry their suitcases up the stairs while he watched his movie. When they got to their room, their were no towels, the bathroom tap was loose and wobbly and the tv wasnt working. They went down to call the service desk to assist, and after an hour he managed to get youtube to work,...

"I said the night for a layover. The rating on the door is rated 3 star out of 5 from South Africas rating on hotels. It's a quick place to recuperate and gather your thoughts. The British breakfast is mid and as an American beans dont belong on a plate but for a quick meal and morning energy it was worth eating. I think my review is simple for a one night stay"
