"Our stay here was pleasant, though there were a few challenges. We had some difficulty with the gate at arrival, as instructions on how to enter were not clear, and we were also unsure where to leave the remote control upon departure. Additionally, it felt a bit misleading that there were no photos showing the farm animals on the property (cats, dogs, geese, chickens, horses, etc.), which are very much present. "A lovely location and unique building layout. Our room was great, the bed comfortable, and the rooms were very clean and spacious. The breakfast was very good with freat service. The only reasons that we didn't give it an excellent was the lack of a toilet seat (which they remedied by opening the second bathroom) and the cooking tools were very limited."

"Excellent room, great sea views. I would not recommend rooms at the rear, alley view. Very clean, friendly staff and nice breakfast area. Stated parking included but it’s on street and closest I could get was 100yards away. Can’t imagine how far away you would have to park in high season. "

"The accommodation was lovely - clean, warm and welcoming. The view of the sea is amazing and the location (near gates of castle but within the castle walls is unbelievably magical. Highly recommend!"

"View was fantastic! Slept well in a very comfortable bed. Room and bathroom were clean. Room was on the ground floor with courtyard. Was able to open back door and walk to fortress wall for spectator view. Next visit plan to try an upper floor room. "

"The staff were very nice and polite ladies. Rooms were a bit smelly and bathrooms needed a bit more attention! Breakfast was very nice and there was always fresh orange juice and vaffels. Parking was next to the hotel! Generally was a very nice experience!"
