"This is an older beach town. Most of the properties are older motels. I think that is very quaint though. Very pet friendly. Very nice staff. The coffee shop right next door excellent!!!"

"Stopped in Chincoteague Va on our way home from the Outer Banks. The Anchor Inn was an adorable Inn. Clean and comfortable. Our room had a balcony that faced the sound and we enjoyed the Sunset and a beautiful view with your coffee in the morning. The Inn is part of Marina Bay Hotel & Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel. We definitely will stay there again"

"Staying in a "floating" bungalow was unique. Warning to those with mobility issues: it is not very easy to get up and onto the porch. It was quite a long walk on narrow, floating piers to get to the bungalow we were staying in, then it's a large step up from the floating pier onto the porch, especially during low tide. Maybe those folks that take the reservations should ask customers if they have mobility issues before making the reservation."
