"The drinks were beautiful, along with the view at the bar. Our room was beautiful and the coffee was GREAT! Everything was perfect from start to end. One person working the bar could have been more pleasant - dark-headed girl. Smiling would help out a lot. We loved it there. We think the sea walrus should be named and they should have a cam-same thing with all of the ships...we learned so much watching them from our window and looking to see what flag they are flying. "Staying at the Shelburne Hotel is like stepping back in time. The staff are warm and friendly, our room was quiet and comfortable. It was fun playing pool in the lobby area. One suggestion: a few hooks to hold towels and hang night clothes in the bathroom would be helpful. There was only one small towel bar crammed with towels. "

"Finishing quality is very low and while they are clearly maintaining the property. Just ok, seems to be good enough for them. Restaurant on site was horrible. But the beach view from the room was amazing. Loved the jetted tub in the room and the spa servwas great. There's nothing really wrong with the property but for the price, i will definitely be staying elsewhere next time. Most places at this price are well appointed and finished very nicely to give a luxury feel. This is more like a budget...
