"We were celebrating two birthdays ! We started with the best massage in the world at the Spa, checked in, enjoyed our lovely room and awesome bathroom with signature products that were yummy, then dined at Moonraker on the penthouse floor. We had delicious Japanese small plates and sushi rolls and signature cocktails then wrapped in blankets to sit outside by the fire and gaze at the DC lights. Totally fabulous experience !!!!! "

"I. Love the Thompson .. the roof top bar is excellent and the restaurant is fair with pretty decent food the fa culotte is very clean and tastefully ce ora ted so are the rooms. We have stati ed there many Times . They are just on block away from our daughter. We can stay here when we visit and she can have her privacy it s sxcellent"

"Everything that was in the staff's control was wonderful! The hotel is going through renovations so floors 5 through 7 I believe, some lobby areas and the hot tub down for cleaning. Room temperature control very convenient and worked! Very safe and secure area! 3 to 4 blocks from the national Mall. Spent 5 days. Mini Mart in lobby area open late ngt. I ended up walking everywhere 20 minute walk to monument and 10 minute walk to Capital. "

"The hotel is awesome for anyone in town to catch a NATS Baseball Game or an event (football, soccer, etc.) at Audi Field. It's a few blocks from the metro and there are tons and bars of restaurants a few blocks away. When you're at the rooftop bar and restaurant there are stunning views of the capital building and other highlights of DC."

"Fantastic staff! Great amenities for a smaller hotel. The only thing that was a negative was it’s a bit of a dangerous area (Navy Yard) and lots of huge rats in the neighborhood!! "
