"What a fantastic property. Rebecca was extremely friendly, helpful, altogether amazing. Beautiful room and view. Comfy bed, large bathroom, Nespresso machine, bottled water and jelly beans! The breakfast was excellent, fresh eggs from the chickens, really good selection of cereals, yoghurt etc and a large cafetière of coffee. What more could you ask for. What a gem! "

"Lovely b&b. Fantastic 3 course meal. Highly recommended. Kate is a super host. But the two dogs beg at the breakfast/dinner table. They need to be kept in a separate room while guests are eating. Breakfast was disappointing. Cooked breakfast consisted of 2 streaky bacon,burnt sausage and a fried egg with yolk overcooked. Make sure you ask how you want your eggs cooked. First morning we asked for scrambled egg which were perfect! Also the bedroom door needs a proper key lock on it. Everything...

However, I did find the bed in the room we were in to be a little firm for my liking, but that is personal taste The breakfast, from the fresh fruits to the fantastic poached eggs and bacon etc was amazing. Apparently they have a temporary manager at present and it is clear they need an experienced and enthusiastic professional to maximise its potential. "
