B&B in Audubon County

Bang on what we expected. Nice location, very quiet. Looks straight out of the 1950s; shame the 50s wall-integrated radio was dead. That would have been a fun thing to have working! Main down-side was that the coffee machine in the room didn't work - nobody around to tell in the morning. Cheap and cheerful. Would stay again if passing through. However, it does seriously need a revamp - be warned. If you like a throw-back, this is nice. If you want a modern hotel room with mod-cons; then avoid.

On checking in we were given a room on the second floor. As I had a foot injury which made it very difficult to walk I requested a room on the first floor but was told the allocated room could not be changed as there was nothing available. As there were very few cars there overnight and no one else at breakfast I found this hard to believe. My daughters room had a mass of cobwebs and she had to borrow a vacuum to clean the room before the family could use that room.

The staff was courteous and very helpful. They accommodated all our requests
