4/10 Poor
"Checked in no room phone to call front desk. Pull out couch had no sheets, blankets or even a pillow in the room. I called - we are out of blankets and pillows. What? Went to the pool area no towels. Back to front desk to ask for pool towels, I get bath towels but can't mix with pool towels so i was asked to bring them back to the front desk when done. the front clerk said again we have no blankets or pillows... I said I am confused you allow rooms with pull out beds but can't prepare for it? Gentleman there said I can find you a pillow. Got my pillow and "pool towel" headed back to the room my key won't work...so I head down to the pool with the pillow and towels. Get back from the pool and 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth. My reservation was for 3. Are you kidding me? Called down and got towels. Leaving to go to some activities in the area. Stop at front desk to say my key won't work. Was told if I replace this one key your other 2 key cards won't work. Do you need me to replace all of them. Yes I still need 3 cards. Front clerk said I don't appreciate your attitude. No apology etc. Shocked by the lack of customer service. Grant it i just walked up when she on the phone telling another customer sorry we are not refunding you we tried other options and you declined them so maybe she was on edge. Other guests stated thier sheets smelled like urine. Outside door not"
"The hotel room was not updated. Some furiture was in need of repair. The bed was the worse bed I have had while staying at a hotel. The restaurants were very good though. The coffee cafe place needs help with their quality of food and service, but its not bad. The casino area was great. I was really disappointed that the room did not have a microwave, but it did have a fridge and coffee maker. Don’t plan on saving food for the next day, you have no way of heating it up. We were also told that the maid service comes by on the third day, they did not. We never saw them."
"We stayed at this hotel 3 days and again 2 days. Hotel was very clean and reasonably priced. However, hotel is ten years old and requires upgrades or some would say TLC. I have a relative in the hotel industry, and he stated major hotels perform upgrades once it reaches seven years old. Furniture has chips, shower curtain hanging, cracks in sinks etc. Staff were friendly but often not behind the service counter. Full breakfast was decent although my breakfast was cold on two occasions. Fortunately, there was a microwave nearby. A biggie for me as I'm retired military was the American flag was very tattered. Would I stay there again? Probably, my main concern is cleanliness and comfortable beds which were above average for this type of hotel. If the hotel declines much more such as a Day's Inn I experienced, then I won't return."
"Our room was nice and clean. There was ample parking even though the hotel was full. The breakfast was good and had several available items to choose from."
Days Inn and Suites by Wyndham St. Louis/Westport Plaza
2/10 Terrible
"This hotel was the most disgusting room I have ever stepped foot in. Mold/mildew in the bathroom, missing couch cushions/stained cushions that were there, drapes falling down, the bed was stained. The smell of smoke is in the hallways and the room. I couldn’t stand it we had to check out and get a different hotel. If you want a clean room, this place is not it."

6/10 Okay
"Our stay for a family fun weekend at this property was okay. The front desk staff was not dressed appropriately(not business casual) on our first day. Very short and revealing clothing. There wasnt anyone at the desk half the time. The main area in the lobby seemed to have air flow, but the hallways and elevator did not. It was warm out and warmer inside. The side door never locked, although it had a room key tab on the wall to get in. The patio furniture seemed to be dated and the grills did not work. There was also a cigarett butt I could not unstick from one of the outside chairs. The breakfast was okay, but where was the extra protein. No eggs, sausage, or baccon. I guess I could have bought some and cooked it in my room. There was breads, bagels, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, bananas, apples, and yogurt.
Pros: The hotel overall was clean. The room was clean, comfortable beds, nice amenities in the room (large refrigerator, flat top stove top, toaster, cooking utensils, dish washer and microwave). Great shower pressure and really hot water. Basketball court."
