even though the place was clean and customer service was great, the entire floors smelled like pot. not sure because of all the hippies coming to the ACL concert, but the smell of it gave me headaches. Someone should monitor the halls and make sure they adhere to the hotel policies.

Clean and newly painted room. Clean bathroom. Good AC and good location near the airport and COTA. BEWARE THE TOW TRUCK SCAM👀. Threadbare towels and the pillows were like lumps of cotton. Some had disintegrated to small chunks and pieces inside the cases. Bedding was basic. The headboard fell down our first night. Bottom line supply and demand. We paid 300+ per night for two rooms and a lousy experience Lots of noise and creaks in the building. Open the curtains and you’re on the road seeing cars zip by. You can hear anyone in the corridor outside. On the other hand all of Austin was sold out and I got fooled with the name Studio 6. It’s just a Motel 6.
