"Excellent location to explore the region. Friendly people are running their lodge with nice rooms, good beds and shower. Breakfast included with own products and also means to make your own meal in the evening, incl a BBQ. Sitting on the deck in the afternoon enjoying the scenery is also a fine way too end a day. "

"Out of all the places we stayed during our three weeks on the South Island, Ratanui Lodge provided the best service and hospitality.
