The room setup was strange with low ceilings in places due to the rafters, the narrowest staircase (with split steps) that I have ever used, and only one window in the door to the small balcony. "We loved the SPA and Pool facilities. Our room (family room on two level) has an amazing view of Matterhorn from our balcony- especially at sun rise when it just glowed as if it was made of Gold. Room itself was large and clean with adequate facilities. Check in was straight forward too. Zermatt itself is a beautiful ski resort town. The hotel was in a great location near the railway station. The hotel offers a courtesy bus to pick or drop you at the railway station."
