"Room was great and the cleaning staff were wonderful. Be aware that this is not the mother property and in order to check in and check out, you have to go to a different hotel down the street. There is almost no front desk staff at this location ever. The breakfast (in the mother hotel) is wonderful!"
"Wonderful hidden gem. Friendly family run staff. They were patient and helpful with our English speaking questions. They went above and beyond by providing a tour of the property and help navigating the area. From reviews I knew it was a beautiful setting on a hill as with a good breakfast. Additional nice surprises: sitting room with chess board, game room with pool and table tennis, easy access to walking trails, wonder dinner onsite, and a heated pool. The dinners were excellent 4 course meals with great daily choices. Honestly, some of the best food we have had on our trip through Austria. The heated outdoor pool was a highlight. The water was bathing warm. So relaxing with a scenic view. Off the valley and mountains. Overall a very pleasant experience and stay and one I hope to repeat again."
"Overall: Amazing staff, incredible location, and beautiful spa!
Reception & Spa: We arrived prior to check in and stored our luggage after transfering things into a provided swim bag to head upstairs to the spa. The spa has 2 private shower rooms (shampoo/body wash included), so we showered and changeed into robes for incredible 50 min massages (95€ each). We then used the infinity pool (free with 50 min+ massage, 25€ with early arrival) to soaked in the amazing views. All rooms include use of the infinity pool, and saunas on your last day until 2pm so this could be a great second day option to extend your stay/ shower at the spa following check out too.
Room: Our room and bathroom were both large with a sitting area across from a Queen bed. It was it was surprisingly warm for end April so without AC the down duvet without a top sheet made it hot, but the open windows did cool it down (not the hotel's fault)
Breakfast:
I am celiac so I cannot have gluten, or items that have had cross contact with gluten. Although it was a buffet, each item had their own tongs and a chef went through each of the hot items and told me how they were cooked (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, veggies were all oven cooked and GF). There were also cereals, yogurt, fruit, deli meat, cheeses, coffee machines and juice. For us due to the GF options it was definitely worth having this breakfast included in the room. The restaurant was beautiful to sit in, and the hotel also has a nice patio. "
"(The Green Annex Building) Felt like staying in a HOSPITAL WARD with DEPRESSING and complicated world war 2 bunker style tunnels connecting the building. EXTRA CHARGES for towels and dressing gown. NO BREAKFAST. Very dated decor in the room, Cheap and nasty bathroom and toilet. Broken Sofa Bed. It's a little walk up to the town, but a nice walk. The saving grace was the view, balcony, the Spa, Steam and Pool facility, kids playground and the Easter Egg hunt activity. I would not recommend the Annex building for this price!!"
"Room was very clean and also the interior was clean. However the hotel would need some refurbishment, as the furniture looks run down already.
The stuff was polite and helpful except the waiters. That is a shame and I have never met such unprofessionalism ever.
The pool was really big and warm. Sauna/SPA great. Library and fitness was also very usable. "
