Nice, no frills B&B

Basic nice B&B - no frills but room is comfortable and clean. Food is basic breakfast - eggs and bacon or pancakes and bacon. Fruit and juice. We would stay there again if in area. Be nice if they added something like homemade cookies in the afternoon or evening.

Did not have air conditioning remote in room so we could not turn A/C on. Would not stay there again just based on this. Everything else was great but room was hot at night.

The property was clean and well maintained. My only issue was that the air conditioning remotes were taken so you could not turn on the A/C. The rooms were hot which I cannot sleep in a hot room. For this reason, I would not return. Everything else about the property was fine.

Highly recommend

A wonderful friendly welcome was the start of a fabulous stay. The room was large, bright and clean, as was the bathroom. The bed was so comfortable and cosy. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and was generous to say the least. J and D were perfect hosts and would recommend their B & B to everyone. It's so close to everything with the golf course just across the road.

Review for Cashen Course House – September 2025 We had a lovely stay at Cashen Course House in Ballybunion. The location is perfect — quiet but still close to the town and golf course. The room was spotless, and everything was well maintained, which made for a really comfortable stay. Having on-site parking was a big plus, especially after driving around the countryside. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, which added a personal touch to the experience. I’d definitely recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the area. Would happily stay again!
