"This house is beautiful and immaculate and the owner had thought of everything for all ages from high chairs and travel cots to a shower seat in the walk-in shower. The location was ideal to so many places. The owner is lovely and was quick to resolve any issues. Unfortunately the house itself seems to be the only part of the property that has been renovated and what will be a lovely fairy garden, replete with waterfalls, was marred by construction rubbish. The car paths were awful to drive. I...

"These cottages are actually 3 bedroom houses with a great enclosed garden to the rear. Disabled access to the downstairs bathroom and bedroom and two big bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen diner is adequate with all you’d need to cook a meal, although the utensils and pans could do with an upgrade, they’re getting well worn. Decent living room with tv rounds it off well. "

Comfortable hotel with superb breakfast

"Very comfortable room, lovely bed and bedding, fabulous breakfast with huge choice, and hot plates. Good meal in Ballast Bar. Central location with free private parking. Only negatives were that time slots we were offered for breakfast were very limited (nothing between 8.30 and 11 when we’d have like to go at 9am), and some maintenance issues, extractor fan in bathroom and tv remote not working. Also bedroom doors are impossible to close quietly, resulting in some disturbance."

"One of the best trips we've ever been on. The food was impeccable, the service was outstanding, and we were made to feel so relaxed and like nothing was any bother. A truly luxurious experience with so many eateries to choose from - all serving brilliant food at fair prices for the excellent quality. We're already planning our trip back!"

"We arrived early at the hotel, and were able to check in, although our room wasn't ready. We were greeted by very friendly staff at reception. Ann was particularly friendly. After a coffee in the bar/restaurant we went off exploring. We received a text to say that our room was ready, but we were enjoying Wexford town, so returned later. Parking was easy. Our large room had a great view over the river. The room was comfortable & clean with good facilities, as was the bathroom. We had dinner in the Dry Dock Bar, a little pricey, but delicious. Breakfast was a hot & cold buffet with lots of choice. Overall a great stay."

"Great hotel, staff were very attentive and friendly, bed was super comfy and room was spotless. The lessors facilities are great and the hotel is a short walk to a shopping centre and many bars and restaurants. Beer garden and access to the duck pond are beautiful. Overall had a fantastic stay"
