"This is an unmanned hotel. You must use your phone with an app to get in. The rooms are small but have most of what you'll need. The automatic lights in the bathroom are Horrible!! in the middle of the night when you have to go the bathroom. UGH. Definitely close to all amenities and the castle grounds. It’s upstairs from a pub so we needed all that information to find the amenities. He showed us where to park the car for the night. A full Irish breakfast was included and it was wonderful. "I stayed at Preston House last week. Hotels.com didn't send me the details on email as was outlined in the booking. I contacted the owner who was extremely helpful and gave me an upgrade and sent on all the details straight away. The house itself is beautiful and my room was spacious and comfortable and a really lovely place to stay. The owner checked in with me to make sure I got checked in ok and again the following day to make sure I had no problems with my stay. I work in Laois multiple...
