The allocated room at checkin had scaffolding erected outside the 2 windows. We could see workmen on the platforms and hear talking. I asked for a room change and was given another room. On first umpression the rooms are dated and the matresses are sagging but comfortable. Service at breakfast was awful we were asked 3 times did we want tea/coffee and toast but it never arrived. I complained to reception and Breakfast the second morning was better and service had improved also.
Dinner service very slow cream and leek sauce with pancetta no leeks in the sauce and 1 tiny thumb nail piece of pancetta garlic fries dry ……although tasty for what I we had plated breakfast in morning very greasy though buffet breakfast on Sunday morning was lovely delicious homemade wheaten bread …… wedding on Saturday evening had we know this would not had booked as couldn’t get parked there was an overflow car park which was difficult to get a space also and very loud music playing into the early hours of the morning overall we enjoyed our stay staff we’re lovely and informative good base for sightseeing
Stay was pleasant enough. Staff are friendly and efficient and helpful.
Decent enough for a 3 star hotel and excellent value for money.
Would stay again.
When we arrived we booked in for meal that evening and breakfast next morning. This was not the case when we went that eve for dinner. Also no record of us for breakfast. We wanted a bowl
Of soup when we arrived but again was out of the question. 50 minute to an hour wait. We were told to do to restaurant across the road. Would not come back to stay there. We will be staying in Ballyliffen town house the next time.
