"We paid for an ocean view suite and that is what we got, and the view was stunning. My complaint is about the ancient furniture, which looked like it passed its 1980's debut and was picked up off the side of the road. The love seat especially was uncomfortable and smelled like dog. The bed was a bit soft. Low noise. Across from the beach. Parking great."

"We arrived around 4:30 pm to find this fairly massive hotel so empty that we weren't sure they were open. Went to check in & was given 2 key cards. 1 was super glitchy. The room was super musty smelling, & the heater smelled horrid. Heater was drooping out of the unsealed wall cut out space for it below the window. Toilet did not flush properly. We were given two half rolls of toilet paper that was left behind by the previous guests. The rest of the room seemed clean ish. The pool was pretty gross as we could see mold & scum along the side walls & bottom. Didn't bother looking in the jacuzzi. The property itself was pretty run down & you can see where the rot was taking over the wood all over the hotel. Next morning: we are now out of toilet paper & needed fresh towels. I has a sense that they weren't going to restock/clean our room, but then we saw them cleaning the room next door as we were leaving. Still, we went to the office & mentioned that we do need towels & TP. The guy at the counter said no problem. He was stressed because the casino nearby had some event, and they were now inundated with reservations that they weren't prepared for. Got back late that night & the room was never touched. In fact, I am certain that the person who wrote the most recent review to mine in Coos Bay was the family I was waiting in line behind when I went to ask for supplies. Won't ever be staying here again. At least we didn't pay more than $117 a night I guess."

"We opted to spend a little more to get a room with a "kitchenette". It had a working stove and a full fridge and coffee maker. It did not have any pots or pans to use on the stove. It was nice that it had a kitchen table and a separate bedroom. It was right next to the maintenance/laundry room. An open bin of trash was right outside the door and our place had a lot of flies. The floors weren't clean, especially under the bed. While I would likely stay at this property again (it's cheap!), I would not spend the extra money on a room like this."
