"What we liked: the view from the room was amazing! The staff was very attentive and friendly. We would recommend staying here. Here’s what we didn’t like: 1. Road- inbetween the hotel and the beach is a very busy and loud road which made it difficult to relax at. 2. Breakfast- the food is good, but clearly not made for those with western tastes. Compared to other similarly priced hotels, we found the food options less at this hotel. 3. Lack of facilities- no spa at the hotel or surroundings, no offers for sight seeing, very few activities (e.g. the aquarium in the area appears to be permanently “temporarily closed”.) Is this a nice hotel? Yes! Would we recommend spending more than just a day or two? No."

"The hotel is close to the beach, bars and local restaurants, and a 7/11 store. The facilities are basic but the rooms are en suite, spacious and clean, with a TV, fridge, hairdryer and kettle although you’ll need to provide your own tea or coffee, sugar and milk. The hotel has a lovely outdoor pool, ample parking and a well stocked beer fridge in the reception which acts as the bar. Reception is manned 24/7 and breakfast is available although we had breakfast out. The hotel has 4 floors but no lift, but help is available with your luggage if required. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall the hotel offers great value for money and is highly recommended."

"The room was HUGE!! The bedding was soft, so were the pillows. The 2 pools both had clear, refreshing water The bathroom was new, modern and spacious, with never ending hot water Had a full size refrigerator and kitchenette sink Good for extended stays with family or 2 couples Propert is a little far from the busy beaches,, but it’s very quiet and peaceful for a relaxing vacation. Motorbikes are cheap to rent, about $10/day or can take a taxi that the resort staff will call for you. The action, if desired is only a short ride away, but there’s a cute local Thai bar, with pool and foosball a few minutes away, even by foot, if you don’t find the resort has all you need. Besides the fire show, and the sunset/sunrise view points, or water sports activities in the ocean, one could just relax at the resort the entire trip. We will definitely book again for future trips, especially to get away from the noise and crowds of the city and relax poolside "
