Stephen King's hometown offers literary tours past the author's Victorian mansion and spooky landmarks that inspired his novels. Explore the historic waterfront where you can catch summer concerts, shop at local boutiques, and take river cruises along the scenic Penobscot.
Excellent hotel for our two night stay - really welcoming and professional staff. Great amenities and a really well equipped modern room. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Bangor

Beautiful hotel. Great location for exploring the area. Complimentary breakfast was lovely. Staff very friendly. Spotlessly clean. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangor.

The room was massive, clean and well looked after. The pool was a little small but did the job, there is no longer a hot tub but this is explained by the staff at any opportunity. Breakfast was great buffet where the hot food changed slightly daily but was always plenty of bread, waffles, coffee, tea etc all available including a bowl of fresh fruit. Reception staff were really friendly and the little shop was great with soft drinks and snacks available 24 hours

Stayed a couple of nights in the autumn on the way to Acadia National Park. The room had a wonderful view, was quiet and very comfortable. Reception was also very helpful with suggestions for food, despite many restaurants being closed when we were there.

This was a very comfortable motel. The owner and her staff were very helpful. For a lo cost motel it provided extras such as toiletries and washing up.liquid in the well equipped kitchenette. It also had a launderette which was invaluable. Well placed for touring from and not too far from a couple of small supermarkets and a short drive to a nice bar/restaurants
