"Room nicely fitted out, unfortunately to the rear of the hotel so had a poor outlook, however being also at the top floor it was very peaceful, breakfast was excellent as was afternoon snacks, 9 out of 10 overall "

"We stayed as part of a larger walking group to climb Mount Snowden on our Cancer Charity fund raiser, so to find the hotel was located only 300 yards from the start of the route was a real bonus. The staff were attentive and delivered great customer service, thank you. We stayed in room 248, a twin room on the corner , a massive plus was that the windows opened, so you could get real fresh air rather than air con, it makes so much differnce. "Our stop was really good overall. The breakfast was fantastic. We were in room 3 at the rear of the Castle over looking the kitchen/ staff area and they were very vocal in the morning."

"The hotel is quite dated and unfortunately all of the mattresses in our room were very hard (i know this is personal preference). Location was excellent and on site parking."
