The front desk staff were so helpful. One of the staff members helped us navigate buying train tickets. They always seem to go above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable.

The room facilities were very ugly and old, there were dogs barking in a room very close to our, we asked for a room change and they told us that, we had paid for a room like they were giving us, that they had rooms for 400 euros, I don't recommend that hotel, We have a very bad impression.

The property overall is quite plush.... However, overall it was underwhelming... Location is good, however, some might not like the road it is on. The dimley lit interior is cool, but for me the up-lights everywhere were very unpleasant on the eyes. When I first arrived, the greeting was very average, my expedia VIP note was slipped under the door hours after I arrived and I never got to use it. My first key didn't work (they only gave me on), so I was up and down the lift to get another one when this time they gave me two. The wifi passworded changed during my stay, but they did not alert guests, so again, up and down the stairs to get a new one. The bathroom had seen better days, the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall and the shower head has not been descaled in some time.... For the money, this was not worth it to me.... I would not go back again....

This was a nice hotel very close to the Ramblas, it does have a homeless mission near by. Be aware, but we felt safe walking there from the Ramblas. The WiFi was not good at all, nearly non existent unless you stood in our hallway.

Honestly if you just want a clean room, then this hotel is good. Staff were all very entitled and hard to communicate with. Wi-Fi was extremely slow or didn’t work at all, which affected my work. I ordered coffee to the room and after multiple attempts to contact room service, reception assisted and they charged me 5 Euros to bring the coffee to the room (without informing me of this fee.) Once I started checking the charges before checkout, receptionist raised his voice and at that point all I wanted was to leave. Defenitely not 4 star quality, unfortunately.

We stayed seven nights at Hotel Espana and we loved it. Brilliant location and very kind people working there. We really enjoyed our time there. There was a small issue at checkout (we paid for an upgrade fee) and were charged it twice but they assured us they would fix that. All in all it was an amazing experience. We’d go back. For sure.

Ok I have seen some not so good reports regarding hotel, This hotel is great!! Location is really great, staff was very friendly and helpful from start to finish The only thing we had 3 staying in one room was just a little small however it was fine for a boys weekend away
