The hotel and staff were excellent and did try to accommodate my food choices (I’m vegan ). Generally I think more vegan options could be made available now we are in 2024 and vegans are more common. Even non vegans choose plant based sometimes. Anyway the hotel was lovely. We did feel under pressure to leave at 11am precisely at check out time but did appreciate the lift to the port area. I would recommend this hotel highly however.

My honest review would be that this hotel is a little shabby round the edges but completely made up by the wonderful host Anthony. He is so welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable…. I could go on! Our apartment was very big, clean, brilliant sea views and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a dip in the pool early evening to cool off from a long day and had it to ourselves. Helpful staff, especially Lora and Maria on reception, who are both so enthusiastic about their island which was great to see. We went at a quiet time of year when we were probably the only tourists on Syros!! The hotel is currently being refurbished and will be fully ready in a couple of months when life will get busier there. They seem to have quite a few business travellers who stay there. Very quiet rooms because of the shutters provided.

The location was perfect for us on our overnight stay in Tinos, en route to Mykonos where we had to catch a flight home. It was right in the town, close to shops and restaurants and very close to both the old and new ports. The room was great - very clean and good facilities, including a small balcony where we sat and enjoyed a glass of wine....
