"We had a family unit which had all we needed and more. There is a full sized stove and fridge freezer to make a stay with a family a breeze. Good onsite parking in front of our unit was ideal. The view over the Hawkes' Bay and port is stunning. The beach is an easy walk across the grass. Ahuriri village is a short walk away giving access to a good range of cafes and interesting shops. We will definitely stay here again"

"After having stayed at East Pier many times I was disappointed with the fact in order to view even free to air TV, one needed to know one’s logins and also for other platforms. The enjoyment of coming home after a night out, the part of climbing into bed and switching on the TV is now not an option without logging in. We also had to pay to watch Supercars and the All Blacks. Concerning also, was to see someone’s email address at the login. Privacy issues I would imagine."

"Heat Pump didn’t work in room and this is a common problem in many rooms. Staff just respond with inferring it is your use of the remote. There is never parking if you arrive after 5pm response is always just park on the street there is no street parking available a lot of the time."

Great location right on the wharf and one could walk to a great selection of cafes. Bars and restaurants.
Would definitely stay again.

"The photo of the studio was big and bright but the reality was disappointing.
My partner had to bend his knees to fit under the fixed shower head. As the shower was triangle shaped, his butt opened the door when he bent down.
Very low ceilings made him feel claustrophobic too.
Reception was open from 12-6pm and it was all very 'contactless' apart from check in. The room was quite warm. I left a note to have the temp turned down to 15 when they cleaned the room as I had turned on cold air by...

"Seriously everything was great - from the welcome we received, how clean and well presented the whole hotel looks we could have been staying there the first week it ever opened. We would stay again in a heart beat and will recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Napier.
