"It is an amazing hotel, built into a rock, so you are actually staying in a luxury cave. The view was unbelievable, and the food in the restaurant was fantastic"

We booked this on the day and arrived within several hours of making the reservation, and Manolo the owner was there to greet us.
Lovely friendly man who runs the 14 century hotel as a hobby while running a dental practice. The attention to detail in the hotel is superb and location is in the old part of town with very narrow streets (when driving) but well worth hunting it down.
Breakfast was a Spanish affair, simple but very tasty and looked after by 2 ladies who couldn’t have been...

What a beatiful hotel! The staff were super helpful, the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the pool area was great to relax after a day of hiking.
We are a couple in our 40s who enjoy being outdoors, we found this hotel by chance and absolutely loved it - Im pretty fussy so its a big complement! Its a great location for hiking and exploring the surrounding area and perfect for a digital detox (although they do have wifi) and to relax.

This is a very basic hotel with limited facilities - no formal reception as such (we were given a code to retrieve our key from a key safe) - it all worked well. However, be aware that you are not supposed to flush toilet paper down the loo + there is very very limited places in the immediate vicinity to eat/drink. Our room had a twin hotplate and great fridge but there are very few shops to source supplies (a trip to Guadix is probably the best solution). The hotel is a good location for...

Beautiful place but need to go into it thinking it’s more like an Airbnb. Do
Your shopping before you arrive as there is nothing there. The onsite restaurant is amazing but not open often. No breakfast included even though on booking it says it is. You’ll need to buy essentials like milk, coffee, tea, basically everything food wise but it has its own kitchen and fridge freezer and cutlery etc.
Amazing views
Pool great
Waterfall appreciated !
We booked the jacuzzi room and it was lovely.

The hotel is situated on a hill overlooking the beautiful villages of Laujar de Andarax and Fondon. It has plenty of parking and the hotel is large, modern, clean with a helpful and welcoming team.
The rooms are individual apartment blocks with a balcony and terrace situated amongst the countryside, with plenty of trees, places to seat, easy access to the pool, quietness, dark skies for skywatching and a 20 minute (steep walk) to the local town of Laujar and trail routes such as El...
