"Everything about this hotel was fantastic, except a couple of things. Unfortunately the pool wasn’t available for most of our stay which was disappointing. Also, the person working the cash register at the bistro was pretty rude when we corrected her on an order after she herself made two mistakes on it. Like we were inconveniencing her for her own mistake. Not the older woman. She was sweet! It was the younger woman. Christine or Christina I believe. Like, maybe quit if you hate your job so...

"When I booked this hotel it was an AmericInn, however when I arrived it was changed to a Quality Inn with no prior indication. I did receive calls from Windham but they never left a message to identify the change prior to my check in. The building did not have any address on it to help identify it as the hotel we needed to be at. Otherwise, it was a very clean hotel. The staff did their best with what appeared to be a new system. "Love this property for its cozy, historic ambiance and the beautiful views. The staff is wonderful and friendly. The only thing I would change is the dining options. The Rose room is wonderful for breakfast and it would be great if you could have a nice dinner there as well. The Noggin room is fun in its own way but not exactly a dining destination."

"The Bay View Inn is a lovely historic property with charming rooms, vintage decor and wonderful views of the bay. Sunsets are spectacular and there are amenities like free bikes to enjoy the nearby areas for walking and riding. The staff is friendly and committed to making your stay enjoyable. "Nice inexpensive hotel. Kind staff. Basic clean hotel room. Dated decor in public spaces. Shower curtain unfortunately did not stay inside the shower curb and water always puddled on bathroom floor. The inside of the bathroom door is deteriorating because of this. I would stay here again."

"Been staying for years. It was a great place, then about 3-4 years ago it…changed. Not sure what but the quality of everything went down. Not the staff, you could tell the staff was frustrated, but they have always been great. During this stay there was storage containers of new furniture, their pool/hot tub was (mostly) fixed….
