"We can highly recommend the Le Meridian hotel outside Split on the beach. Be aware that it is a good 20+ minute ride out of town. That being the case, don't get into a cab unless you negotiate in advance the price of the trip. We were conned into a cab ride from the marina and the driver tried to charge us 75 Euros to get to the hotel. Wir hatten von unserem Balkon aus eine gute Sicht auf das Meer (für uns war es aussreichend und super). "The hotel is itself was a nice hotel. Nice rooms. The location was not what I would prefer. 20 minute uber into the city. Hotel situated in an industrial area with no amenities. Very odd place for a hotel. Continental breakfast was a delight. Our dinner meal was less that desirable."
