We had a wonderful stay in the Highlands and couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.
Before arriving, we were slightly concerned that having the owner living next door might feel a little awkward or intrusive, but it was quite the opposite. The hostess was one of the kindest and most welcoming people we have met. She struck the perfect balance of being available if needed while completely respecting our privacy.
From the moment we booked, Laura’s communication was exceptional. She even asked us what we liked to drink before we arrived, which was such a thoughtful touch. As we were driving all the way from London, we were worried that traffic and rest stops might mean arriving very late. Laura immediately put us at ease, telling us not to worry about the time and encouraging us to take plenty of breaks and travel safely. That kindness and consideration meant a lot.
Laura has created a beautiful business and is an amazing host. The accommodation was lovely, and her warmth and hospitality made our stay even more special. We would happily return and highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting the Highlands.
