"Overall impressions of the hotel had the wow factor. The check in was straight forward, although the staff could have learned a smile! The room was really nice although no tea/coffee facilities. We were given 1 small carton of water. There was an event going on in the restaurant/bar area on the Thursday evening so we weren't able to go to the bar area, we were stopped by the front of house going through to buy water which was frustrating. "Will not be staying at this hotel again. At reception they did not speak English and was not sure of who or what I was there for. Wanted payment in CASH !! told them no and had t be escorted to the top floor to get make payment. Was not shown where (if there was one) the restaurant was or where and when breakfast was served. My room was not cleaned and bed made up for my 2nd night and overall not good."

"It is a lovely building and the room was lovely, clean and spacious. Very comfortable all around. The breakfast was excellent. The only surprise was being offered a bottle of water after we settled in, then being charged €5 for it. That seemed a little pricy. The hotel itself was excellent value and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. "
