"Great new suites but due to the harvest time of rice fields there were rats and mice everywhere, including in the room, the staff were so apologetic and went well out of there way to catch them and blocking the roof holes. no fault of the resort and they really tried hard to please"

"Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. Our room was six levels down a mountain, some 405 steps down. We used the inclinator elevator to travel between our room and main pool and restaurant. "The place is as pretty as the pictures. There’s wifi, proper air conditioning, working kitchen, and I do wake up with that beautiful sceneries. Staffs are very friendly. One thing though, there were only 2 restaurants around and close quite early. So manage your time well."

"We enjoyed every aspect of our time at the Ridge in Ubud. The staff and butler service were more than accomodating of all our requests and nothing was difficult. The room was excellent and comfortable with spectacular views. The entire experience was easy and relaxing from the moment we arrived. We will happily return to the Ridge on our next visit to UBUD."
