Fabulous eco-retreat in the rural wilderness of Sri Lanka. Loved the feel and vibe of this resort. Everyone was super friendly and we came away very relaxed after a two night stay. Unlike anywhere wise we visited on our two week trip. Recommended

Fantastic Plac

Fabulous! Had 2 nights here. Our beehive was lovely. Nicely set up. Balcony was a great place to sit and watch the weather go by. Amazing views. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Meals were lovely. Would love to revisit.

We had a lovely night at Tathya Hills - the staff were very helpful regarding our travel plans and also gave very good food recommendations. The room was lovely with a huge comfortable bed and a clean spacious bathroom. Location wise everywhere we wanted to go was within a short Tuk Tuk ride or walk.

Beautiful setting, very remote and high altitude. Weather was so much cooler than the south . Long trousers and Jumper recommended for evening and morning. Rain coat f you are doing hikes . We had a super time here , staff were outstanding and the level of detail was perfect. Hot water bottle in bed at night was so welcoming. Two nights to chill. Full board , all drinks , snacks all great with a lovely afternoon tea by the infinity pool.

The views over the valley, the tea plantations and agricultural land are fantastic. The villa is set up on a hillside, about 3km out of town. It takes approximately a 10 min tuk tuk drive into town. The staff are absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The hotel is beautifully presented, mostly made in wood and looking very smart. The room and bathroom were large, clean and well presented. The whole place is beautiful an dis surrounded by beautiful countryside.

The property was very beautiful and peaceful. The room service was good too. They helped us with the late checkin and luggage till the top floor where the room was. The lady at the reception was very welcoming. Overall a very good experience.

Budget priced hotel in an excellent location near to centre but quiet. Excellent breakfast, lovely sitting area and attentive staff. Would recommend

We stayed at La Pentera for 2 nights in Feb as part of our Sri Lanka tour. We arrived at about 6pm and were greated by Francis the manager and his wonderful team and a welcome drink. The driveway leading up to the 4 chalet hotel is impressive as is the whole hotel concept. Francis had called us in advance and was prepared for our arrival. Beautiful view and amazing friendly staff

This was a fantastic place to unwind. A vast array of activities in the surrounding nature or a SriLankan cooking lesson which we found was amazingly interesting and tasty!!! A truly luxurious boutique hotel with wonderful staff. The roads in are interesting and we were glad of the SUV we had hired. Over 4 hour drive from Colombo which was indeed stunning. We loved this place.

We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive.
