"Friendly staff, great location and fun activities."

"Very interesting architecture and tasteful interior design. Staff were super accommodating. Perfect place for a relaxing holiday on Sri Lanka’s coast."

"Great breakfast. Great food altogether. They were a bit odd about when we could access the beach. It was closed from 12 to 3. Which was weird but other than that a great place."

"Shabby room in desperate need of updating. The air conditioning rattles louder than the local train line behind the hotel making it difficult sleep and there is no ceiling fan to keep cool as an alternative. "Great location, great rooms, friendly staff."

"We had a lovely stay at the Riverside Inn Fuji. The room was huge and immaculately clean with great air-conditioning. The grounds were also well maintained in a picturesque setting by the river. The pool was a nice bonus."

"If you want to be relaxed, this place is the best quiet place! "

"Henry the owner is the perfect host. Staff were very caring and helpful! Pool is great! Food was one of the highlights. Fantastic wildlife in the garden with parrot, fish, fire flies, chip monks and lizards. Mosquito free veranda. Tuc, tuc and van available anytime. Wonderful beach only 2 min tuk tuk ride away. Best relaxing holiday we have had in 2 months of traveling."

"It’s currently a building site. The rooms are very expensive for what they are. Internet didn’t work. Next to railway line so quite noisy "

"The architecture and gardens are a stand out feature of this hotel located on a quiet section of Bentota Beach ( separated by a railway line which you cross on foot!). Staff are efficient and courteous "

"Wonderful and comfortable but the F&B prices based on the service level and hotel are fairly high compared to other luxury properties in the area. "
