Comfortable stay with a great breakfast

The stay was perfectly comfortable. Room was a bit small and overall could use a deep cleaning, it felt a bit dusty, but that's to be expected with a small pension in a historic building! The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The garden area is absolutely lovely and such a nice place to spend mornings and evenings. The location is also great.

A traditional house inn with cute deco

It was a novelty to stay in such a traditional-style house. For what we paid, it was very comfortable and had great service. The breakfast was really nice, and we loved the courtyard. The owner offered us a small dish of kofta and rice, which was delicious! The parking was a bit challenging. The street was very narrow, and the hotel didn't have many designated parking spots.

The Pension was charming and the owners family were very helpful and kind. The bathroom sink was really tiny so it was impossible to use without splashing water. The garden and breakfast were really the highlight and very good. Overall a happy stay and good value for money.

Major pluses: excellent breakfast & very cordial staff. Unfortunately it was end of the season so we were somewhat neglected. Bathroom hardware was broken so we had to hand hold the shower head. Moreover there was a continuous odour of sewage coming up the floor drain — p-traps? Courtyard had potential; we sat out there for 30 min hoping for a coffee or drink but none were offered — clearly staff just ignored us.

Small room, pleasant experience

The house and courtyard are cozy and pleasant, we were created very friendly, the family room we found small and there was not much space to move around, we (a group of 3) are traveling long term and it was a challenge to find space for the luggage, price for the room we found too much We loved the garden and the host couple are very nice and helpful, the breakfast is amazing, location is great

Delicious and rich breakfast. THANK YOU! Very kind owners. Very clean. I was thanks to the owner driven by his taxi to the central Bergama bus stop for 310 TL. Only criticism, but still giving 5 stars rating: The hostel owner recommended me to a bus tour operator and they charged me 500 TL !!! for the distance from Bergama to Çanakkale. As a reference: Passengers paid 650 TL from İzmir to Çanakkale. My wish is that my host can make sure that if he recommends me that I am not ripped off but treated like other passengers. Thank you.

I have stayed here three times. Each time has been a very enjoyable stay in Bergama and this guest house. I have stayed at nearly 100 hotels and guest houses in Turkey now and this is in the top five for me.

Get what you pay for

The hotel was good with a nice, big, fat breakfast but the parking is a challenge as it is located inside a very narrow alley. The rooms are ok. But too cold without any heater.. We went there in May 2025. And it was really cold.

There was no privacy in the bathroom! My girlfriend really didn't like this. The door would not properly close, leaving a gap of >5cm, furthermore, there was glass in the door, which also doesn't result in a lot of privacy! Staff was friendly and breakfast was nice.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und wir durften unsere Fahrräder in den Innenhof stellen. Sehr zentrale Lage. Schöner Garten mit verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten. Das Zimmer ist mit Bett und einem Stuhl eher spärlich ausgerüstet. Ein kleiner Tisch oder Regal würde helfen. Auch im Bad leider keine Stange um die Badetücher aufzuhängen.

Bina biraz eski olsa da, hizmet kalitesi mükemmel. Baştan sona güler yüzlü ve samimi bir şekilde karşılandık. Özellikle kahvaltıları gerçekten çok lezzetli ve çeşitliydi. Bu pansiyonu herkese kesinlikle tavsiye ederim. This guesthouse has a lovely rustic charm. Although the building is a bit old, the service is excellent. We were greeted with warm, friendly smiles from the moment we arrived until we left. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and had a great variety. I highly recommend this guesthouse to everyone.
