I got the chance to visit this magical site, the 500 year old Chinkapin
Oak, know locally as the Sacred Oak. It's on private property in the Oley valley. The owners open it up to visit twice a year, the next time being June 4th 2016. It is amazing to see, the trunk is 19 ft around and there is a marker in front dedicating the tree. It was a beautiful October day, and perfect for viewing this wonder. I must have taken 300 pictures.

"The staff was amazing. Checking in on Christmas to this gorgeous hotel was just lovely. Bar staff amazing! Place was so clean, and so warm. Pool and hot tub very nice. Water temps were perfect! Such a unique stay we cannot wait to return. Prices for gift shop and bar were average, no over pricing :) "
