Smart rooms in a lovely building close to Ku'damm and the lively centre of Schöneberg. Good value for the standard of the accommodation. There is fairly limited staffing cover with the front desk only staffed between 3 and 11 which is a bit odd in a good hotel

The hotel is in a great location, with really friendly staff, and looks fantastic from the outside. When you go up to the rooms though, everything just feels very tired, like it needs renovating and a deep clean. There’s kind of a musty old smell about the place, and lots of the furniture seems like it needs replacing, which is a real shame as otherwise it’s a really great hotel.

I was still very shocked and so were other guest that no one comes on staff until 1300. You should really change that to 11 am. Its soo mucg better for guest to see someone when they come down and they questions. You have a lot of tourist coming to Berlin. The employees were very helpful and tried their best but you all really need to staff the hotel earlier even maybe 9am.

This one used to be one of the best hotels in Berlin with Michelin-starred restaurant. Not anymore. Those days are long gone. Rooms are tired and badly in need of paint/update/renovation. As for service, the reception is only open from 3 PM which means you need leave your belongings into a unlocked room if arriving early. Great location thou right next to U-bahn station.

GOOD HOTEL, CAN BECOME EXCELLENT

The hotel is brilliantly located in the centre of Berlin, but on a quiet street (so no traffic noise). Access to public transport is superb. It is surrounded by a variety of great restaurants, all within a 5 minute walk. We’d booked a junior suite, which was spacious, clean and comfortable. It’s staff are pleasant but aren’t very visible (they usually arrive at the reception around 2.30pm and leave around 11pm). Some are quite inexperienced, so didn’t know much about the city (heard them say quite often, “I haven’t been here for long, so don’t know the city very well”). This is a good hotel (and I’d stay there again) and it has all the essentials to become an excellent one. It just needs some experienced staff and a little bit of planning to become that.

Although the great architecture of building but the everywhere dirt ruines any joy. I had a Junior suite but wardrobe broken, parquet broken, TV not working at all, dirty couch, no kettle in the room, minibar was not refilled, dust everywhere, shampoo was empty and dust/dirt everywhere.

The hotel is shocking and the worst experience I have ever had the misfortune to suffer. I already paid fully with Expedia and showed the receptionist my receipt with matching credit card number. He was insistent that we pay again for the three rooms. The hotel was filthy in the public areas and children running around constantly. It looked like it was a refugee hotel and not fit for city travellers. Avoid this hotel and it's rude staff at all costs.

Very friendly and accommodating staff with whom nothing was too much bother. Beautifully set out modern hotel providing a spacious room with free drinks, large bed, large television and well appointed bathroom. The manager works overtime to make guest feel welcome and uphold the standard of the hotel. I got in after 3am on Saturday and a guest had locked themselves out of their room. The guest was able to contact the manager immediately whom rectified the situation. The following night ( Sunday) I returned just before 11pm, the manager was still there, arranging and organising the common areas which is reflected in the hotels comfort / aesthetic.

Poorly run hotel

The hotel has limited hours reception. If you call them you go to call center. The room has no towels at all due to incompetence. I asked breakfast staff (the only people there) and they did nothing. I called the national help desk and nothing. A four star hotel with no towels and no means to ask for them. Disgrace. It recommended. If you want to automate a hotel with no reception. You need competence.

This property has unfortunately not lived up to expectations. On checking in we found that the TV, fridge and bedside light were not working. There was also no hot water. We requested a different room and this was in working order. However, as it’s listed as a 4.5 star hotel we were very disappointed. There was no tea/coffee making facilities, no room service and no toiletries (other than half a bottle of hand wash). The staff are only present from 1pm which is not in line with a 4.5 star hotel. There was no option to leave luggage on check out. I emailed the hotel and called 4 times. They never replied or answered the phone.
