Good hotel and location. Pity about the meal choices and lack of cooked breakfast

Building overheated so strongly in winter that we were sweating just sitting in the room. Breakfast choices very VERY limited; just breakfast cereal and yoghurts and croissants. However, staff were helpful, location was convenient for us and the room was fairly big

Great check-in and really good hospitality

The hotel is right by the station which is very handy for a multi centre holiday and it is very central for everything you may want to do in Bern. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The roof terrace is beautiful and the rooms are really well equipped really comfy beds and brilliant showers. We didn’t eat at the restaurant so can’t comment on that, breakfast was 40 chf per head which seemed a lot so we used local cafes instead. Great location for exploring the city on foot. Instructions for checking in and out including all information needed for our stay were super clear and helpful. Facilities at the hotel were also great. The room itself was compact but incredibly clean and had everything one would need for a comfortable stay.

Great hotel! Wish I had stayed a little longer- had to leave at 4am for flight. Complementary shuttle was huge bonus.

This is one of the best hotels I stayed in terms of customer service. We stayed there as a family in June 2015 with small kids. We were amazed by the warm welcome ( complimentary drinks & food, tram tickets etc) and hotel staff made our stay a perfect one.
