"This is such a magical secret place, perched totally in the center of an equally magical place (White Mtns.!). I almost want to keep the secret, since I booked it on a whim looking for a bargain expedia deal! Most wonderful of all were the two wonderful women working at the front desk that I met throughout my week-(I'm not 100% sure of their names but I believe one was named Nancy, I want to give them their credit)-who went above and beyond for my last-minute-booked stay. They were extremely welcoming & knowledgeable, & resourceful when I asked to extend (literally everyday) or ask for a late checkout, even as the slow season was quickly turning into busy tourist season.
Listen, you don't get to go on vacation often, so businesses run by people like this, where you truly feel like a guest and not a nuisance # or cash cow to milk, who provide such a unique stay-will always get my loyalty. I already plan to go back & also to book a stay for my parents & have insisted all my friends & coworkers check it out.
Didn't feel like a lot of the carbon copy 3D-printed resort stays around here-priceless views and wildlife, and with that gym, koi/boat pond, firepits, gazebos, grills, pools, game room, spas, trails, equipment rental, LOVELY rooms, etc., -I wish I could rent! There was truly so much unexpected wonder & fun to explore onsite, so many wonderful extras and amenities, that I had a hard time leaving the paradise for anything I planned to do on the trip! And-I'm happy about it!"
