This is a 1908 Historic boarding home. Great Bisbee location. Easy walk to Main St for food and shopping. Owners sent very clear check in and driving instructions . Check in was easy. Owner/ manager was very nice and its a plus have a beer/ wine “ speakeasy “ on site. Morning coffee was delicious. Downside is the property has not been renovated much. Our room was sparsely furnished. No bedside tables or lamps. The mattress was really soft. Be aware that due to” historic” plumbing, hot water takes many minutes. I finally just took a cold shower. Fun place if you are up for a flash to the past,

What a great place! The staff was excellent and the room was immaculately clean. Has a great little bar and bonus of a cozy & private outdoor cafe area. Awesome location to all the shops, restaurants and nightlife but you may want to just hang out in their outdoor patio and enjoy their wine and local brews. We stayed in room 13 which is said to be haunted but we did not experience anything ghostly on our first stay so we may need to return and book the same room 13. Perhaps, any entities may present themselves, per the local lore, if they become more comfortable with us on our second visit.

We enjoyed our stay at the Oliver house.cleam sheets and a very comfortable bed. We were happy to be able to bring our pups for a reasonable $$. Talked to some nice guests and walked a lot on town and explored . The hot water for the oatmeal didn't turn hot in the am. Maybe if there was another hot water container like the coffee, it would be easier to make the oatmeal work. Otherwise loved it.

This older hotel/B & B had a friendly and informative staff, water, ice, a small bar during evening hours and coffee/snacks in the morning. The rooms need renovation in our experience. Bisbee is a weekend getaway but during the week has limited businesses open.

This was a fun place to stay in a fun town. The house is an old historic building full of history. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and nicely decorated. It’s an old place which comes with old plumbing and creaky floors but it’s charming and well cared for.

You can hear every bit of noise from your neighbors. I had a neighbor who was having a very loud phone conversation for four and a half hours!! It was as if she was sitting right next to me. There are no tvs in the room, so I couldn't bl9ck the sound with anything. Internet kept dropping. And I was close to the shared bathroom, so I listened to the door on that all night. Cool place, terrible experience.

This place is historic and has historic charm. So if you book a room here be aware that you may or may not have your own bathroom, you may or may not have lukewarm water to shower with and you won't have any amenities like a TV or be able to control the temperature in your room. The staff is the BEST. There is free coffee and breakfast type items in the morning. It is very relaxing and there is a speak easy bar on the main level that was a great place to hang out at the end of the day. Based on my experience in Bisbee, this was probably one of the best places to stay.

The lodge is eclectic, with lots of historic photographs and paintings. It offers the historic charm of the mining era. The rooms are large and comfortable. The owners have taken great strides to describe the lodge in its uniqueness. They gave specific directions to the parking lot. We. will definitely stay again on our next visit to Bisbee.

The Oliver House was built in 1908 as a boarding house. It has charm and is well-appointed with the flavor of early 20th-century houses. The staff is friendly. Despite advice to run water for at least 10 minutes, after 40 minutes we only had lukewarm water. I skipped a shower.

stayed for New Year’s Eve and it was the perfect spot. Tucked away, just enough creaks in the floors. Bed was fantastic. Perfect for an anniversary trip. Felt very safe; follow the directions on the welcome email for parking. Big Help. Staff was kind, will stay again.

The Oliver house was a nice place. The staff was great and very friendly! Hot water in the shower could be a bit better. ( took awhile to get warm ). But it was close to downtown and the restaurants! We would stay here again!

Oliver House is in the heart of town, love it! It's pet friendly, love that too. Clean and spacious room. The window view from our room was of the B on top of the mountain. It gave me inspration to hike it, so the next morning that's just what I did! Everyone in town is so nice! With free Wifi, we watched movies from our laptop, 'Tombstone' and 'Wyatt Earp'. What a fun escape for us, a much needed vacation. Thank you!

I love old, historic hotels, even with their creaky floors, weird water pipe sounds, and other creepy noises. Given that, I will say that the Oliver house seems especially noisy. Even when I was trying really hard to walk down the hallway quietly, the acoustics of the place amplified every foot step. My room location probably didn’t help any, being on the first floor right next to the front door. But again, those noises are expected and are part of the charm of old hotels. What wasn’t expected or charming were the tour groups. No where in the description does it mention that the building is on haunted house tours and that large groups of very noisy people would be wandering through the hallways into the evening. At one point it seemed like 20 people were standing right outside our door loudly discussing flooding, murders, and other topics. We had been driving all day and after dinner we just wanted to wind down and go to bed early. The tour groups woke us up several times. Then there was the shower in the morning, which was the absolute worst I’ve ever had in a hotel. No hot water. I let it run for 5 minutes and still nothing. And it felt like a pressure washer. All in all, it was not a great experience, which is unfortunate because the place does have a lot going for it. The location is amazing. The building itself is cool. The history is interesting. They allow dogs. They maybe should just not rent the rooms on the first floor.

The staff were great and the ambiance was superb. The breakfasdt was so-so and the shower never got hot. I later found out that one needed to wait at least 10 minutes for the water in the shower to warm.

No television in room, hot water never came up, room was way too hot. Had to run air conditioner and open window at 43 degrees outside to cool off. Can’t control room temperature, no night stands, bar never opened when they said it would.

Stayed in room 7 and it was comfortable. Nice and quiet. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Amy was able to accommodate us being there a little later than expected and she was quick to respond. I would recommend it. It’s a beautiful home. I would definitely stay here again. It’s also walking distance to practically everywhere. Thanks for your hospitality!
