And then the snow arrived. The weather can change so quickly - this appeared in a matter of minutes. I could literally see it coming down the mountainside. It lasted for about 15-20 minutes and then it was done.

"Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were basic but clean and very comfortable. A simple breakfast was also included. There is a cafe on site selling soup and panini’s but it closes at 5pm so wee went into nearby Hofn for dinner both days which was only 15 mins in the car. It’s a superb location for enjoying the beach and mountains."
