"There was absolutely nothing wrong with our stay. It was just an overnight stop on a road trip. The room was clean, quiet, safe and the bed was good. Hubby watched sports on TV. It was a very good value for the price paid!"

"We appreciated the space and updates to the room. The room was clean and loved the updates to the bathroom. We would definitely choose this hotel again. The breakfast was as expected with the usual cold and hot items. My only criticism is that the beds are a bit firm, pillows were flat, and the sink didn’t drain well, but I’ve stayed at worse places. "No pool time for me it being October. I came to meet up with friends the next day at Oglebayfest in Wheeling, and found this hotel quite handy. I grew up in the valley even though I live 3 hours away now. I remember when it was a Holiday Inn. Not sure if you get the customer traffic to support this thought, but the site does look a little outdated, although nice and clean. The Front desk people were efficient and friendly/helpful. "We ended up staying last minute after our other reservation turned out poorly. The evening desk reception woman was very welcoming and we were able to get the suite we wanted. Loved that breakfast was till 10 am on Sat and Sunday. Also, a 12pm check out was wonderful so we didnt feel rushed in the morning. "
