"Dean and Paul were exceptional hosts, and within minutes after our arrival it felt like we were visiting with old friends. It truly was one of the warmest and friendliest environments I have ever experienced at a boutique hotel. Paul’s skills as a chef were amazing, as well! The breakfasts were superb and the lone dinner eaten at the hotel was also memorably delicious. Clean rooms, super staff and a great location for exploring central Scotland, the Birchwood Pitlochry checks all these boxes...

Most are across Scotland and the UK. The real issue we encountered, was certain staff were distasteful and had an obvious distain for foreigners. "The Scotlands Spa Hotel was perfect for our one night stay in Pitlochry. It's just a block off the Main Street and all the shops and within walking distance of several restaurants. The breakfast in the morning was extravagant and included everything for a full Scottish breakfast, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, and several other options. The beds were extremely comfortable.
