"This property is old. The shower barely sprayed and didn’t run out of hot water for me but was erratic for my husband showering after me. I didn’t realize it wasn’t within walking distance of restaurants etc. If there was a way across the river close by that would have been helpful. Right on a very busy highway. Mattress was terrible as were the pillows. The lady at the front desk was friendly."

"Property has some a nice onsite restaurant. Dinner was good. Room was probably one of the larger hotel rooms we found in Ireland. Breakfast had a buffet and hot food option. It was okayish. Selection was fine just was probably the least tasty breakfast I had compared to other hotels we stayed at."

"We enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean, there was a kettle and a mini fridge. Beds were comfortable. It was close for the things we needed. Walking distance to some restaurants. We always saw staff cleaning. The pool was great. Didn't realize I needed a swim cap but they have them available for sale at the pool desk. We didn't use the on-site bar or restaurant. The restaurant has a nice sun room that looked like a great place to enjoy some down time. We did have noise from the room next...

"The hotel was overall very nice with a convenient parking garage. The pool and sauna closed super early for a weekend (7:30pm) which is kind of ridiculous and we were hoping to wind down there in the evenings but never could because of that timing."

"The Imperial is well located - we walked to most of the things we wanted to see. You could take an Uber/taxi but the area traffic is congested and the walks are easy. We found that the Imperial was a great place to stay. We had two breakfasts, one lunch and one dinner (plus we wound each day down in their really neatly decorated and themed bar (Fitzgerald)."
