"Room was in good condition however it was a disabled room that was not advised on booking. There was an intermittent unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. Seeing the disabled room I immediately requested a room change but here was not much enthusiasm as we had a 2 night stay and was told the hotel was full the following night so not much they could do and on the first night there were currently no other made up rooms. "The room was very clean, as was the bathroom, bedding and towels. Lovely big double windows gives plenty of natural light. A big built in wadrobe/cupboard gave plenty of storage space for clothes etc. An iron, heater, fan and hair dryer were all provided. The only thing that could possibly be improved is maybe some extra milk, it wasn't too much of an issue as I was on my own. However, im sure if I had asked the staff would have been more than accommodating as they were all very helpful and...

Although the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday evening, i was provided with a wonderful Chinese meal at a very modest cost. I requested a continental breakfast which was fine. Pick Hill is a lovely small village with a long history, some of which is displayed in the ancient church. "
