"You get what you pay for and we knew that going in. Very quirky old hotel that hasn't been updated in decades, but the old school vibe definitely has character. Hot tub and pool area was clean and the breakfast was decent. The staff checking in were very polite and accomodating. We stayed one night after the House on the rock in a standard room for only $83. If you're on a budget and not to picky this is a great place to lay your head for the night."

"When checking in the assistant was listening to what I was saying and suggested a room closer to the pool since I was asking about the pool hours and how exciting my kids were to be able to swim inside! The breakfast was very good and well stocked with all supplies. Thank you for making our stay welcoming and enjoyable."

"We had two rooms this past weekend. The check in staff was great! Super friendly and helpful in getting some extra towels. My mother in law reported that she had the best night sleep! Breakfast was a solid hotel breakfast, nothing fancy but well stocked! Only two weird things - there were Slim Jim’s left on our couch and nail clippings in the bathroom. Made us question the cleaning a bit. Location was great! Costco is close - easy to get gas and a pizza when needed!"
